Durga Puja - 2009

First time that I was away from my mother :(

First time after my marriage :)

Second time in Delhi :

First time that I didn't wear a single new dress :(

First time that I didn't see any puja apart from the own locality one :

First time I was so unwell that I visited doctor's house more than the Puja pandal :)

Life moves on :) :) :) .............................

Why is all these?

You did not get chutti visit your mother? I suppose you are a working woman (not man... you mentioned about shanka/pola :-))

Congratulations. Must be a special one. :)

Oh! You don't wear new dresses on other occasions? I do wear new dresses any time of the year. For me, every day is puja. Durga Puja has nothing to do with my dress, but it is a moment to see happy faces around---be it poor or rich, shabbily dressed or well-dressed, girl or boy, veg. or non-veg., smoke or no smoke ...

I miss my own locality puja. :( Here, I have to go kilometers in search of one pandal. It is so sunny that the supposed-to-be pleasure trip becomes a punishment for me.
You are so lucky to have a puja in your locality. :)

Visiting doctor's house more than the puja pandal is so sad. What happened? Anything serious?

And, yes, lastly, life not only moves on... it rocks... :)

Jiyo... haso... khelo.... kudo....
sadharan raho... samajdari se eesh karo...

Ayan,

Thanks! How did you get hold of my blog? Nice to see your comment in my blog.

Indrajeet,

Yes, since it was my first puja after marriage, I was with my new family and not with my own parents. And since I was not well, I couldnt go out and see puja and couldnt wear new dresses :)

No, we dont stay in C R Park.

Thank you very much for leaving comment here :)

Doell, just thought to comment once again here, as I just wrote comment on your last post.

Could you manage to go from your new house to your old house?

Did you get a chance to wear new dress?

Are you alright now? Could you enjoy Kali puja?
