Are we still under foreign rule? Are we still struggling hard to win our sovereignty? Are thousands of us being thrown to jail for no reasons? If NOT, then how can a criminal be a hero in present day? Then how can a person involved in bombing his own city be the reason for so many people’s mercy?
Only because he played the role of a character who idolized Mahatma Gandhi in a commercial Hindi movie? If Sanjay Dutt plays a rapist, is he a rapist in real life? Then how can Sanjay Dutt be considered a Munna Bhai in real life?
This is obnoxious. People are getting mad behind a criminal! They are shouting ‘Munnabhai Zindabad’ outside the jail! I can understand the concern of the news channels – how can they leave such juicy news? But what about the matured people? If the court finds him guilty helping the bomb plotters in Bombay then how the matured people can act so numb?

Very true.
Most of the Indians are so star struck that their senses go dumb whenever they find their screen heroes on the wrong side of the law. It happened with Salman Khan before. Now, the same story is repeated with Sanjay Dutt.

I agree totally with what has been stated.even I believe the 'otherwise' intellectual Indians are being biased in the Sanjoy Dutt case, floored by his 'hero' image.
